Garden of the Gods

Last August I took a trip to Colorado with some friends from college. It was my very first time getting to explore the beautiful state as I had only ever been to the Denver airport once on a layover. 

Our first stop on the way to the hotel was Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. The bold red rocks reminded me of my time in Sedona, Arizona. It was just so awe-inspiring to stand before the rocks.  The size of the rocks in relation to us as humans is out of this world. Oh and the skies... well being from Pennsylvania, and outside of a major city, I just can't get over the color and the smell of the crisp, clean air! Stay tuned for may more photos.
