The Early Bird Catches the Worm

I think I can officially say “I’m a morning person.” Now don’t get me wrong, it may be considered cheating, but when it’s daylight at 5:30 a.m., it makes it so much easier to get up than when it’s pitch black out. Also, throw in a chance to see a beautiful sunrise from the beach, and it’s all totally worth it! Plus I just love how quiet and peaceful it is on the beach. there’s only a handful of other people there just like you!

About a week ago I was lucky enough to get down to Cape May, NJ for the weekend. I recently bought a new lens (Canon 24-70 mm) so naturally I had to try it out with a sunrise. Did you see this pale orange sky?! …. Helloooooooooo Gorgeous!! If you can’t tell, I’m super happy with these images.

In other news, I spent a week down in Key West this past May and it felt amazing to be traveling once again! It had been a year and a half since my last trip and I was feeling it. So stay tuned, I have lots of photos to share. Plus I don’t think I ever shared the photos from my trip to Prague (October 2019).

Oh and a quick update, I’m slowly getting my print shop set up on my website here. I hope to have it up and running entirely in the next few weeks.
